Our pastor just published a list of 100 Names of Jesus on his blog that is definitely worth checking out. If you stop and think about the names as you read the list, it really makes you stop and think
I’ve read a lot of lists about the names of God, but I think this is the first I’ve read about the names of Jesus. I don’t know if the list is exhaustive, or whether it’s intended to be, but it’s pretty cool. And, surprisingly, it doesn’t take that long to read, unless you really stop and think. Enjoy!

to stop AND think — you’re asking a lot of us now.

I know, I’m quite the slave driver.

Amen! And there’s really only one way to follow that list up:

It’s funny that you link to that because during our pastor’s last sermon series, he played a shorter, edited version of that video at the beginning of several sermons in a row. It’s great, isn’t it? I think he links to it on his blog a few posts back.

Indeed. I’ve seen it used a couple of times as a sermon intro – usually they cut it after the big “Amen” in the middle. I could listen to it forever.

Lockridge’s “That’s My King” is one the most glorious desciptions I’ve ever heard of our King Jesus. Anyone know where you can access the full sermon?

Well, I’ve always hesitated to comment but this time I can’t resist. I’m almost speechless. God never ceases amazing and astounding me with His vastness, the uniqueness of His plan of salvation, of His authority over all, His guidance, His love which is beyond our human conception. But most of all the painstaking trouble He goes to to reveal Himself to us so that we can get close to Him and know Him better – the One who loves us. Thanks so much for your website.
