My wife will not ever forgive me for this, but since everyone else is showing off their desktop (courtesy of Mark Stevens), I thought I would join in the fun.
This is my desk at my office, not at home (not that it is much better there):

Desktop Challenge
I’m sure it will give Jeff (Scripture Zealot) fits, as he is a self-professed “detail oriented, organized perfectionist.” And, as you can clearly see, I am not.
Voyeuristic? Here are some other desktops I’ve seen this morning (if you’re not listed here, please feel free to drop a link to your desktop in the comments):
And a few others I had missed, until now:

Because of my back, I spend most of my computer time in a recliner with a laptop so a picture wouldn’t help a lot. I also lie down on the couch to read and have a bunch of Bibles under the coffee table. I get books from my bookshelf when necessary.
Nick’s looks very efficient and Bitsy looks like more of a perfectionist than me if that’s possible. I can see you have no chance of dehydration.
Jeff

No, there probably won’t be dehydration any time soon.

I can’t believe you!! My tummy is hurting just thinking about all the people who might see this!!!

Honey, you know you love me, even in spite of the desk.

WOW! look at the case files and empty KAF POW containers
Well I guess and messy desk surely means a great lawyer? ? ?
Nice chair by the way!

Peter…I can’t believe you! How many drink cups do you need? You are a mess! but then it makes me feel a little better about mine. LOL
#8 by petermlopez on May 13, 2009 - 11:45 am
I’m glad I could help.

So, eh, Lopez? How’s that couch you’re currently calling “a bed” doing? Maybe your beloved will invite you back in the bedroom in about a month… but I wouldn’t hold your breath.
The Big Gulp pub was the kicker for me.
Lovely, brother!
Peace.

Not quite the couch, but I’m treading on thin ice, that’s for sure.

Hey bro — It looks like you have cleaned things up a bit since I was last in your office. Good job!
#12 by petermlopez on May 13, 2009 - 3:51 pm
Yes, thanks for noticing. I appreciate that.
#13 by Robert Jimenez on May 13, 2009 - 5:03 pm
Peter, are you intentionally trying to out do Nick?
#14 by petermlopez on May 13, 2009 - 7:49 pm
Of course not…it’s no effort at all.
#15 by Bitsy Griffin on May 13, 2009 - 6:02 pm
Peter! That is too messy for words! How in the world do you find anything?
#16 by petermlopez on May 13, 2009 - 7:50 pm
Who said I do?
#17 by Larry Who on May 16, 2009 - 9:30 am
So, what’s wrong with your desktop? It looks okay to me.
#18 by petermlopez on May 16, 2009 - 3:22 pm
Thank you, me too.
#19 by Celucien Joseph on May 19, 2009 - 3:46 pm
Oh mine, I need to be hired to give your office “a make-over.”
#20 by petermlopez on May 19, 2009 - 4:37 pm
Thanks for the offer, but, for the time being, it is what it is.
#21 by JPvdGiessen on May 20, 2009 - 1:24 pm
Finally someone who understands me, your desktop is as “messy” as mine
#22 by petermlopez on May 20, 2009 - 1:50 pm
Almost…
#23 by bryanclopez on May 22, 2009 - 2:44 pm

#24 by petermlopez on May 22, 2009 - 3:29 pm
Exactly. It’s sanitary. A little messy, but sanitary.
