The Desktop Challenge

Jim West wonders what bibliobloggers have as their desktop background in his post The Desktop Challenge. Well, at the risk of boring everyone, here you go:

I have also added Jim West’s blog to my blogroll, and I encourage all of you to check out his blog. It’s worth reading.

UPDATE 11/20/08: My desktop has changed.  Here it is now, in all it’s glory.  Can you imagine a better smile?

    No, my friend, you are not. I said I wouldn’t go to Vista until they worked out all the kinks, and it’s taken longer than anyone anticipated. So, for now, I’m an XP man. I’ve been thinking about going with a mac though…huh.

    As far as desktop backgrounds go, what I’ve found to be greatly enjoyable is the melancholy of the stained glass of the Metz Cathedral.

    This has been my background for about 3 months on my desktop. My laptop has a portrait of my 3 month old daughter.
